We are often asked when the best time to plan an African safari is. The answer to that question really depends on when you want to go to Africa and how set your plans are.
If you want to visit East Africa over the Chirstmas and New Year's period, you really need to make those plans as early as possible. Waiting until September might be just too late. Some of the hotels we deal with are already sold out over the holidays. The same thing is true if your plans call for you to travel in August or February. Those are very busy times and the sooner you make your booking, the better chance you have to get the hotels you want to stay in at the places you want to visit. |
